How To Install bibtool on Kali Linux

What is bibtool
bibtool is:
BibTeX provides an easy to use means to integrate citations and bibliographies into LaTeX documents. But the user is left alone with the management of the BibTeX files. BibTool is intended to fill this gap. BibTool allows the manipulation of BibTeX files which goes beyond the possibilities – and intentions – of BibTeX.
BibTool manipulates BibTeX database files through the command line front-end bibtool which accepts numerous options. Modifications are performed through resource instructions that allow the modification of the various internal parameters determining the behavior of BibTool; resource instructions can be grouped in resource files. The original BibTool distribution contains a sufficient set of resource file samples to perform basic, relevant manipulations.

BibTool is written in C and has been compiled on various operating systems like flavors of UN*X and MSDOS machines.
There are three methods to install bibtool on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bibtool Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install bibtool using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the bibtool package we can use the following command:

To uninstall bibtool and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove bibtoolRemove bibtool Configurations and Data
To remove bibtool configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge bibtoolRemove bibtool configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove bibtool configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
