How To Install basez on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install basez on Kali Linux.
What is basez
basez is:
BaseZ encodes/decodes base16, base32, base32hex, base64 or base64url data stream per RFC 4648; MIME base64 Content-Transfer-Encoding per RFC 2045; or PEM Printable Encoding per RFC 1421.
This binary package provides a list of commands: basez hex base16 base32plain base32hex base64plain base64url base64mime base64pem
There are three methods to install basez on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install basez Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install basez using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install basezInstall basez Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install basez using apt by running the following command:

To remove basez configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
