How To Install balsa-data on Ubuntu 22.04

Balsa is a highly configurable and robust mail client for the GNOME desktop. It supports both POP3 and IMAP servers as well as the mbox, maildir and mh local mailbox formats. Balsa also supports SMTP and/or the use of a local MTA such as Sendmail.
This package includes documentation, icons, localizations, and other architecture-independent data files for Balsa.
There are three methods to install balsa-data on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install balsa-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install balsa-data using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install balsa-data using apt by running the following command:

Install balsa-data Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove balsa-data configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge balsa-data
