How To Install audacious on CentOS 7
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install audacious
on CentOS 7.
What is audacious
Audacious is an advanced audio player. It is free, lightweight, currently based on GTK+ 2, runs on Linux and many other *nix platforms and is focused on audio quality and supporting a wide range of audio codecs. It still features an alternative skinned user interface (based on Winamp 2.x skins). Historically, it started as a fork of Beep Media Player (BMP), which itself forked from XMMS.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install audacious
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install audacious.
Install audacious on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install audacious
using yum

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
