How To Install asterisk-voicemail on Kali Linux

What is asterisk-voicemail
asterisk-voicemail is:
Asterisk is an Open Source PBX and telephony toolkit.
This package includes the standard files-based voicemail storage. This is normally the one you use and is the one that will Just Work. The only reason not to install it is if you want to use a different Asterisk voicemail storage (ODBC or IMAP).

There are three methods to install asterisk-voicemail on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install asterisk-voicemail Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install asterisk-voicemail using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install asterisk-voicemailInstall asterisk-voicemail Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
