How To Install aspic on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install aspic on Kali Linux.
What is aspic
aspic is:
Aspic is a program that generates line art images from a text description of a picture that contains commands such as “line”, “box”, “circle”, and “arc”. Aspic’s concept is similar to the “pic” command. Output is either encapsulated PostScript, or Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). Quite complex pictures can be constructed from Aspic’s primitives, which include facilities for positioning text alongside graphics, and the use of colour.
There are three methods to install aspic on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install aspic Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aspic using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install aspicInstall aspic Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aspic using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install aspicInstall aspic Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aspic using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install aspicHow To Uninstall aspic on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the aspic package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove aspicUninstall aspic And Its Dependencies
To uninstall aspic and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove aspicRemove aspic Configurations and Data
To remove aspic configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge aspicRemove aspic configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove aspic configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge aspicDependencies
