What is ascii
The ascii utility provides easy conversion between various byte representations and the American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) character table. Given any one on the command line, it will try to display all others. Called with no arguments it displays a handy small ASCII chart.

Install ascii on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ascii using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install ascii
Install ascii on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ascii using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ascii
How To Uninstall ascii on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the ascii package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ascii
