How To Install arptables on Kali Linux

What is arptables

arptables is:

Arptables is used to set up, maintain, and inspect the tables of ARP rules in the Linux kernel. It is analogous to iptables, but operates at the ARP layer rather than the IP layer.

There are three methods to install arptables on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install arptables Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install arptables using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install arptables

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install arptables using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install arptables

Install arptables Using aptitude
