Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ark
on CentOS 7.
What is ark
Ark is a program for managing various archive formats. Archives can be viewed, extracted, created and modified from within Ark. The program can handle various formats such as tar, gzip, bzip2, zip, rar and lha (if appropriate command-line programs are installed).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ark
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ark.
Install ark on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install ark
using yum
