How To Install argyll on Debian 10

What is argyll
argyll is:
Argyll is an experimental, open source, ICC compatible color management system. It supports accurate ICC profile creation for scanners, CMYK printers, film recorders and calibration and profiling of displays. Spectral sample data is supported, allowing a selection of illuminants observer types, and paper fluorescent whitener additive compensation. Profiles can also incorporate source specific gamut mappings for perceptual and saturation intents. Gamut mapping and profile linking uses the CIECAM02 appearance model, a unique gamut mapping algorithm, and a wide selection of rendering intents. It also includes code for the fastest portable 8 bit raster color conversion engine available anywhere, as well as support for fast, fully accurate 16 bit conversion. Device color gamuts can also be viewed and compared using a VRML viewer.
There are three methods to install argyll on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install argyll Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install argyll using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install argyll
How To Uninstall argyll on Debian 10
To uninstall only the argyll package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove argyll
Uninstall argyll And Its Dependencies
To uninstall argyll and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove argyll
Remove argyll Configurations and Data
To remove argyll configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge argyll
