How To Install arch-test on Ubuntu 22.04

What is arch-test
arch-test is:
This package lets you enumerate architectures that your kernel can run. The check is for the ability to run machine code and supporting appropriate syscall ABI – you may need to install userland libraries in a chroot, container or via multiarch to actually execute non-static binaries of such architectures.
Also provided is “elf-arch”, a tool to determine the architecture of an ELF binary (program or library).
Architectures detected by this version of arch-test are:

There are three methods to install arch-test on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install arch-test Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install arch-test using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install arch-test

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install arch-test using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install arch-test
Install arch-test Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install arch-test using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install arch-test
How To Uninstall arch-test on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the arch-test package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove arch-test
Uninstall arch-test And Its Dependencies
To uninstall arch-test and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove arch-test
Remove arch-test Configurations and Data
To remove arch-test configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge arch-test
Remove arch-test configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
