Optimize APNG files by reducing their file size.

The Animated Portable Network Graphics (APNG) file format is an extension to the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) specification. It allows for animated PNG files that work similarly to animated GIF files, while retaining backward compatibility with non-animated PNG files and adding support for 8-bit transparency and 24-bit images.

There are three methods to install apngopt on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install apngopt Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install apngopt using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install apngopt

Install apngopt Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install apngopt using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install apngopt

Install apngopt Using aptitude
