How To Install apache2-suexec-custom on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install apache2-suexec-custom on Kali Linux.
What is apache2-suexec-custom
apache2-suexec-custom is:
Provides a customizable version of the suexec helper program for mod_suexec. This is not the version from upstream, but can be configured with a configuration file.
If you do not need non-standard document root or userdir settings, it is recommended that you use the standard suexec helper program from the apache2-suexec-pristine package instead.
There are three methods to install apache2-suexec-custom on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install apache2-suexec-custom Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install apache2-suexec-custom using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install apache2-suexec-customInstall apache2-suexec-custom Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install apache2-suexec-custom using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install apache2-suexec-customInstall apache2-suexec-custom Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove apache2-suexec-custom configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge apache2-suexec-customRemove apache2-suexec-custom configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
