ANTLR, ANother Tool for Language Recognition, (formerly PCCTS) is a language tool that provides a framework for constructing recognizers, compilers, and translators from grammatical descriptions containing C++ or Java actions [You can use PCCTS 1.xx to generate C-based parsers].

ANTLR is designed to handle all of your translation tasks.

There are three methods to install antlr on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install antlr Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install antlr using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install antlr using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall antlr on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the antlr package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove antlr

Uninstall antlr And Its Dependencies

To uninstall antlr and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove antlr

Remove antlr Configurations and Data

To remove antlr configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge antlr

We can use the following command to remove antlr configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
