What is anope-sqlite
Anope is a set of IRC services designed for flexibility and ease of use. This package provides an Anope module to support SQLite databases for e.g. authenticating IRC users against a SQLite database using a custom query.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install anope-sqlite
on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install anope-sqlite.
Install anope-sqlite on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install anope-sqlite
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install anope-sqlite
Install anope-sqlite on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install anope-sqlite
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install anope-sqlite
How To Uninstall anope-sqlite on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the anope-sqlite
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove anope-sqlite
