Amoeba is a fast-paced, cross-platform OpenGL demonstration by Excess, showing effects using your 3D card in perfect sync with Ogg Vorbis music. It features a full XML-scripted GPLed demo engine, several object manipulations, lots of graphics and a pumping soundtrack.

This package contains the data required for the demo – to watch the demo, you will also need the package amoeba, which contains the demo engine.
There are three methods to install amoeba-data on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install amoeba-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install amoeba-data using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install amoeba-data
