What is amiri-fonts
Amiri is a classical Arabic typeface in Naskh style for typesetting books and other running text. Amiri is a revival of the beautiful typeface pioneered in early 20th century by Bulaq Press in Cairo, also known as Amiria Press, after which the font is named.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install amiri-fonts
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install amiri-fonts.

Update yum database with yum
