How To Install alpine-pico on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install alpine-pico on Kali Linux.
What is alpine-pico
alpine-pico is:
“pico” is a simple but powerful text editor. It was originally the pine composer, the editor used by the pine email client for writing email messages.
It has gained popularity since its initial use in that context and is now used as a stand-alone editor by many users.
It is similar to but less powerful than GNU Nano, an editor created with the pico interface when the pico license was non-free.
There are three methods to install alpine-pico on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install alpine-pico Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install alpine-pico using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install alpine-picoInstall alpine-pico Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install alpine-pico using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install alpine-picoInstall alpine-pico Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install alpine-pico using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the alpine-pico package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove alpine-picoUninstall alpine-pico And Its Dependencies
To uninstall alpine-pico and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove alpine-picoRemove alpine-pico Configurations and Data
To remove alpine-pico configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge alpine-picoRemove alpine-pico configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove alpine-pico configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
