In this tutorial we learn how to install airtsp on CentOS 7.

What is airtsp

airtsp aims at providing a clean API and a simple implementation, as a C++ library, of an Airline Schedule Management System. It is intended to be used in simulated environments only designed to work in the real-world of Airline IT operations. airtsp makes an extensive use of existing open-source libraries for increased functionality, speed and accuracy. In particular the Boost (C++ Standard Extensions used. Install the airtsp package if you need a library of basic C++ objects for Airline Schedule Management, mainly for simulation purpose.

We can use yum or dnf to install airtsp on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install airtsp.

Install airtsp on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install airtsp using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install airtsp

Install airtsp on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install airtsp using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install airtsp

How To Uninstall airtsp on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the airtsp package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove airtsp
