How To Install afew on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install afew on Kali Linux.
What is afew
afew is:
The basic task of afew is to provide automatic tagging each time new mail is registered with notmuch. In a classic setup, you might call it after ’notmuch new’ in an offlineimap post sync hook.
In addition to more elementary features such as adding tags based on email headers or maildir folders, handling killed threads and spam, it can do some heavy magic in order to /learn/ how to initially tag your mails based on their content.
In move mode, afew will move mails between maildir folders according to configurable rules that can contain arbitrary notmuch queries to match against any searchable attributes.
There are three methods to install afew on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install afew Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install afew using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install afewInstall afew Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

To uninstall only the afew package we can use the following command:

To remove afew configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
