What is aeskulap

aeskulap is:

Aeskulap is able to load a series of special images stored in the DICOM format for review. Additionally it is able to query and fetch DICOM images from archive nodes (also called PACS) over the network. Aeskulap tries to achieve a full open source replacement for commercially available DICOM viewers.

There are three methods to install aeskulap on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install aeskulap Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install aeskulap using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install aeskulap

Install aeskulap Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install aeskulap using apt by running the following command:
