How To Install adacontrol on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install adacontrol on Kali Linux.
What is adacontrol
adacontrol is:
AdaControl verifies that Ada software meets the requirements of a number of parameterizable rules. It is not intended to supplement checks made by the compiler, but rather to search for particular violations of good-practice rules, or to check that some rules are obeyed project-wide.
This package also contains the following utilities:
- pfni: Print Full Name Image - expands any identifier to a fully-qualified name
- ptree: Prints a graphic representation of an ASIS tree with corresponding source
- adactl_fix: automatically fix some violations.
There are three methods to install adacontrol on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install adacontrol Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install adacontrol using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the adacontrol package we can use the following command:

To remove adacontrol configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
