How To Install abi-tracker on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install abi-tracker on Kali Linux.
What is abi-tracker
abi-tracker is:
abi-tracker generates an ABI (Application Binary Interface) compatibility report for a C or C++ library. The report gets rendered to static HTML pages.
The tool is intended for developers of software libraries and Linux maintainers who are interested in ensuring backward binary compatibility, i.e. allow old applications to run with newer library versions.
abi-tracker requires an input profile for the library in JSON format, which holds various metadata to check ABI compatibility. It can be created manually or automatically generated by the abi-monitor tool.
There are three methods to install abi-tracker on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install abi-tracker Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install abi-tracker using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the abi-tracker package we can use the following command:

To uninstall abi-tracker and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove abi-trackerRemove abi-tracker Configurations and Data
To remove abi-tracker configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
