What is TurboGears
TurboGears brings together four major pieces to create an easy to install, easy to use web megaframework. It covers everything from front end (MochiKit JavaScript for the browser, Genshi for templates in Python) to the controllers (CherryPy) to the back end (SQLAlchemy). We can use yum
or dnf
to install TurboGears
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install TurboGears.
Install TurboGears on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install TurboGears
using yum
by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
