What is IP2Location-libs
IP2Location C library enables the user to get the country, region, city, coordinates, ZIP code, time zone, ISP, domain name, connection type, area code, weather info, mobile carrier, elevation, usage type, address type and category from any IP address or hostname. This library has been optimized for speed and memory utilization. The library contains API to query all IP2Location LITE and commercial binary databases.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install IP2Location-libs
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install IP2Location-libs.

Update yum database with yum
