What is 389-ds
The 389 Directory Server, Administration Server, and Console Suite provide the LDAPv3 server, the httpd daemon used to administer the server, and the console GUI application used for server and user/group administration.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install 389-ds
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install 389-ds.
Install 389-ds on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
