How To Install 0ad on Kali Linux

What is 0ad
0ad is:
0 A.D. (pronounced “zero ey-dee”) is a free, open-source, cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. In short, it is a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of Western civilizations, focusing on the years between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D. The project is highly ambitious, involving state-of-the-art 3D graphics, detailed artwork, sound, and a flexible and powerful custom-built game engine.
There are three methods to install 0ad on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install 0ad Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install 0ad using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install 0adInstall 0ad Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install 0ad using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install 0adInstall 0ad Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install 0ad using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install 0adHow To Uninstall 0ad on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the 0ad package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove 0adUninstall 0ad And Its Dependencies
To uninstall 0ad and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove 0adRemove 0ad Configurations and Data
To remove 0ad configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge 0adRemove 0ad configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
