How To Install xpad on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install xpad
on Fedora 36.
What is xpad
Xpad is a sticky note application that strives to be simple, fault-tolerant, and customizable. It consists of independent pad windows; each is basically a text box in which notes can be written. Despite being called xpad, all that is needed to run or compile it is the GTK+ 2.0 libraries.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xpad
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xpad.
Install xpad on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install xpad
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install xpad
Install xpad on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install xpad
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install xpad
How To Uninstall xpad on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the xpad
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove xpad
