What is xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
Xvfb (X Virtual Frame Buffer) is an X server that is able to run on machines with no display hardware and no physical input devices. Xvfb simulates a dumb framebuffer using virtual memory. Xvfb does not open any devices, but behaves otherwise as an X display. Xvfb is normally used for testing servers.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
Install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
How To Uninstall xorg-x11-server-Xvfb on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
