How To Install vdrift on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install vdrift
on Fedora 36.
What is vdrift
VDrift is a cross-platform, open source driving simulation made with drift racing in mind. It’s powered by the excellent Vamos physics engine. It is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2. It is currently available for Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Windows (Cygwin).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install vdrift
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install vdrift.
Install vdrift on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install vdrift
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install vdrift
Install vdrift on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install vdrift
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install vdrift
How To Uninstall vdrift on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the vdrift
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove vdrift
