What is unifont-fonts
A fixed-width Unicode font with a glyph for every visible Unicode 7.0 Basic Multilingual Plane code point (over 55,000 glyphs) and some glyphs beyond BMP. This font strives for very wide coverage rather than beauty, so use it only as fallback or for special purposes.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install unifont-fonts
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install unifont-fonts.
Install unifont-fonts on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install unifont-fonts
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install unifont-fonts
Install unifont-fonts on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install unifont-fonts
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install unifont-fonts
How To Uninstall unifont-fonts on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the unifont-fonts
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove unifont-fonts
