The UN set of Korean TrueType fonts is derived from the HLaTeX Type1 fonts made by Koaunghi Un in 1998. They were converted to TrueType with FontForge(PfaEdit) by Won-kyu Park in 2003. The Un Core set is composed of - UnBatang - UnDinaru - UnDotum - UnGraphic - UnGungseo - UnPilgi This package consists of files used by other un-core-fonts packages.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install un-core-fonts-common
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install un-core-fonts-common.
Install un-core-fonts-common on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install un-core-fonts-common
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install un-core-fonts-common

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
