How To Install tweak on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install tweak
on Fedora 36.
What is tweak
Tweak is a hex editor. It allows you to edit a file at very low level, letting you see the full and exact binary contents of the file. It can be useful for modifying binary files such as executables, editing disk or CD images, debugging programs that generate binary file formats incorrectly, and many other things.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install tweak
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install tweak.
Install tweak on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tweak
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install tweak

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tweak
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install tweak
How To Uninstall tweak on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the tweak
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove tweak
