How To Install tigervnc-server on Fedora 36

on Fedora 36.
What is tigervnc-server
The VNC system allows you to access the same desktop from a wide variety of platforms. This package includes set of utilities which make usage of TigerVNC server more user friendly. It also contains x0vncserver program which can export your active X session.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install tigervnc-server
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install tigervnc-server.
Install tigervnc-server on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tigervnc-server
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install tigervnc-server
Install tigervnc-server on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install tigervnc-server
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install tigervnc-server
How To Uninstall tigervnc-server on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the tigervnc-server
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove tigervnc-server
