on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-xpiano
This package provides macros for typesetting virtual keyboards limited to two octaves for showing notes represented by a colored circle. Optionally, the number used for pitch analysis can be shown. It is an extension of piano.sty by Emile Daneault, written in expl3 in answer to a couple of questions on TeX.StackExchange http http extended syntax and several options, like setting the color, adding numbers for pitch analysis, one or two octaves, and others.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-xpiano
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-xpiano.
Install texlive-xpiano on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-xpiano
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-xpiano
Install texlive-xpiano on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-xpiano
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-xpiano
How To Uninstall texlive-xpiano on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-xpiano
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-xpiano
