What is texlive-univie-ling
This bundle provides LaTeX2e classes suitable for student papers, PhD research proposals (Exposes), and theses in (Applied) Linguistics at the University of Vienna. The classes implement some standards for these types of text, such as suitable title pages. They are particularly suited for the field of (Applied) Linguistics and pre-load some packages that are considered useful in this context. The classes can also be used for General and Historical Linguistics as well as for other fields of study at Vienna University. In this case, however, some settings may have to be adjusted.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-univie-ling on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-univie-ling.
Install texlive-univie-ling on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-univie-ling using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-univie-ling
Install texlive-univie-ling on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-univie-ling using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-univie-ling
How To Uninstall texlive-univie-ling on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-univie-ling package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-univie-ling
