How To Install texlive-unisugar on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-unisugar
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-unisugar
The package allows the user to define shorthand aliases for single Unicode characters, and also provides support for such aliases in RTL-text. The package requires an TeX-alike system that uses Unicode input in a native way XeTeX and LuaTeX.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-unisugar
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-unisugar.
Install texlive-unisugar on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-unisugar
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-unisugar

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-unisugar
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-unisugar
How To Uninstall texlive-unisugar on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-unisugar
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-unisugar
