How To Install texlive-texlogos on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-texlogos
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-texlogos
TeXlogos defines an assortment of frequently used logos not contained in base LaTeX itself. The Metafont, MetapostAMS, BibTeX and SliTeX logos are defined, as long as you have the appropriate CM/Logo/AMS fonts. Currency symbols Euro, Cent, Yen, Won and Naira are defined so as not to need TS1-encoded fonts. Also defined are the C++ logo, with the ‘+’ signs properly positioned, and the logo of the Vienna University Business Administration Center (BWZ).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-texlogos
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-texlogos.
Install texlive-texlogos on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-texlogos
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-texlogos
Install texlive-texlogos on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-texlogos
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-texlogos
How To Uninstall texlive-texlogos on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-texlogos
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-texlogos
