What is texlive-tex-locale
This package uses both tracklang and texosquery to look up the locale information from the operating system and provide commands that can access locale-dependent information, such as the currency symbol and decimal separator. The file tex-locale.tex provides generic TeX code. The LaTeX package tex-locale.sty can additionally load babel or polyglossia with the locale’s language setting, as well as various other packages such as fontspec (XeLaTeX/LuaLaTeX) or fontenc + inputenc (pdfLaTeX).
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-tex-locale on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-tex-locale.
Install texlive-tex-locale on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-tex-locale using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-tex-locale

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-tex-locale using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-tex-locale
How To Uninstall texlive-tex-locale on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-tex-locale package we can use the following command:
