How To Install texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-stepgreek
This is a beta version of the STEP Greek font. Only a regular face is available at present, though there are plans to add italic, bold and bold italic in the future. The font only supports LGR in TeX and is meant to serve as a Greek complement to a Times-like font such as STEP. The font supports polytonic Greek.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-stepgreek.
Install texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-stepgreek using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-stepgreek
Install texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-stepgreek using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-stepgreek
How To Uninstall texlive-stepgreek on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-stepgreek package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-stepgreek
