In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-srcredact on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-srcredact
This package provides a tool to keep a master source, consisting of different “chunks” intended for different audiences. The tool allows to extract the versions intended for different audiences and to incorporate the changes made in any of these versions into the master document. This work was commissioned by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, United States Treasury.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-srcredact on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-srcredact.
Install texlive-srcredact on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-srcredact using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-srcredact
Install texlive-srcredact on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-srcredact using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-srcredact
How To Uninstall texlive-srcredact on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-srcredact package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-srcredact
