In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-regcount
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-regcount
Adds a macro \rgcounts which displays the allocation status of the TeX registers. The display is written into the .log file as it is a bit verbose. An automatic call to \rgcounts is done at \begin{document} and \end{document}.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-regcount
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-regcount.
Install texlive-regcount on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-regcount
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-regcount

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall texlive-regcount on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-regcount
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-regcount
