How To Install texlive-pst-shell on Fedora 36

What is texlive-pst-shell
pst-shell is a PSTricks related package to draw seashells in 3D view Achatina, Oxystele, Conus, Ammonite, Codakia, Escalaria, Helcion, Natalina, Planorbis, and Nautilus, all with different parameters. pst-shell needs pst-solides3d and an up-to-date PSTricks, which should be part of your local TeX installation, otherwise get it from a CTAN server.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-pst-shell on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-pst-shell.
Install texlive-pst-shell on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pst-shell using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-pst-shell
Install texlive-pst-shell on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pst-shell using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-pst-shell
How To Uninstall texlive-pst-shell on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-pst-shell package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-pst-shell
