Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-pst-fractal on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-pst-fractal
The package uses PSTricks to draw the Julia and Mandelbrot sets, the Sierpinski triangle, Koch flake, and Apollonius Circle as well as fractal trees (which need not be balanced) with a variety of different parameters (including varying numbers of iterations). The package uses the pst-xkey package, part of the xkeyval distribution.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-pst-fractal on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-pst-fractal.
Install texlive-pst-fractal on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pst-fractal using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-pst-fractal

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pst-fractal using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-pst-fractal
How To Uninstall texlive-pst-fractal on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-pst-fractal package we can use the following command:
