In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-placeat on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-placeat
The package provides commands so that the user of LuaLaTeX may position arbitrary content at any position specified by absolute coordinates on the page. The package draws a grid on each page of the document, to aid positioning (the grid may be disabled, for ‘final copy’ using the command \placeatsetup).
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-placeat on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-placeat.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-placeat using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-placeat

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-placeat using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-placeat
How To Uninstall texlive-placeat on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-placeat package we can use the following command:
