What is texlive-pkfix
The perl script pkfix looks for DVIPSBitmapFont comments in PostScript files, generated by ’not too old’ dvips, and replaces them by type 1 versions of the fonts, if possible.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-pkfix
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-pkfix.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pkfix
using dnf

sudo yum makecache --refresh
