on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-pdfprivacy
Creating pdfs with pdfLaTeX populates several pdf meta-data fields such as date/time of creation/modification, information about the LaTeX installation (e.g., pdfTeX version), and the relative paths of included pdfs. The pdfprivacy package provides support for emptying several of these pdf meta-data fields as well as suppressing some pdfTeX meta-data entries in the resulting pdf.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-pdfprivacy
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-pdfprivacy.
Install texlive-pdfprivacy on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pdfprivacy
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-pdfprivacy
Install texlive-pdfprivacy on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-pdfprivacy
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-pdfprivacy
How To Uninstall texlive-pdfprivacy on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-pdfprivacy
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-pdfprivacy
