What is texlive-moderncv
The class provides facilities for typesetting modern curriculums vitae, both in a classic and in a casual style. It is fairly customizable, allowing you to define your own style by changing the colours, the fonts, etc. A number of templates are provided in the distribution examples subdirectory.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-moderncv on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-moderncv.
Install texlive-moderncv on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-moderncv using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-moderncv
Install texlive-moderncv on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-moderncv using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-moderncv
How To Uninstall texlive-moderncv on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-moderncv package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-moderncv
