How To Install texlive-makeplot on Fedora 36

What is texlive-makeplot
Existing approaches to create EPS files from Matlab (laprint, mma2ltx, print -eps, etc.) aren’t satisfactory; makeplot aims to resolve this problem. Makeplot is a LaTeX package that uses the pstricks pst-plot functions to plot data that it takes from Matlab output files.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-makeplot
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-makeplot.
Install texlive-makeplot on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-makeplot
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-makeplot
Install texlive-makeplot on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-makeplot
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-makeplot
How To Uninstall texlive-makeplot on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-makeplot
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-makeplot
