Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-isotope
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-isotope
The package provides a command \isotope for setting the atomic weight and atomic number indications of isotopes. (The naive way of doing the job with (La)TeX mathematics commands produces an unsatisfactory result.)
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-isotope
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-isotope.
Install texlive-isotope on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-isotope
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-isotope

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-isotope
using yum

How To Uninstall texlive-isotope on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-isotope
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-isotope
